The highest standard machines for checking registered baggage will be installed at Tbilisi International Airport

Baggage checking machines for registered baggage at Tbilisi International Airport are changing.

The latest system will provide greater safety and be in full compliance with aviation security modern requirements.

The system update process will take about two months. Vanderlande – the well known Dutch company will implement the works.

Due to the integration of the new system, the luggage belt will not work for several days in February and March, although the mentioned changes will not cause inconvenience to passengers. During the interruption of the automated system, the transportation of the registered baggage from the check-in counters to the baggage sorting area will be provided by the airport employees.
